Our team is led by Medical Director Dr. Sanjay Karatam, alongside experienced providers: - Abel Viltres, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, Family & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Abel Viltres is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong clinical background and a commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care. As a foreign-trained physician, he brings a unique depth of medical knowledge and a holistic approach to treatment. He specializes in advanced wound care therapies, including the use of state-of-the-art biologic treatments such as amnion and chorion-based grafts, delivering innovative solutions to promote healing and improve patient outcomes. In addition to his expertise in wound care, Abel provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health management, focusing on individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s specific needs. His approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and rooted in evidence-based practice. Fluent in Spanish and English, Abel is dedicated to serving diverse patient populations and ensuring accessible, high-quality care for all. - Julian Zhu, L.Ac., O.M., Licensed Acupunturist and Oriental Medicine Julian Zhu is a licensed acupuncturist in state of Florida and Missouri, NCCAOM national board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine (O.M.) with 15 years of experience. He specializes in pain management, men's health, digestion issues etc. Together, our highly qualified team brings expertise, compassion, and dedication to every patient we serve.
